Qnet Support Services (Qnet SS) is a division of Qnet Group Limited. Qnet SS aims to provide services and solutions to ICT and service companies. Qnet SS can act as a service and solution provider for certain sections of a companies business. Customers can request that Qnet SS carry out a specific task or area within their business.

Qnet SS aims to provide long term contracts for IT and Communications companies and services companies such as Scottish Power. The high level view of what this business does is supply chain integration; supplying men in vehicles to work in various part of the supply chain, e.g. customer contact centres, site delivery and install services and logistics. (Movement of stock)

In order to achieve the above Qnet SS has a wide range of resources available to undertake any requirements. Qnet SS has: -

• A large fleet of vehicles – This allows Qnet SS to perform tasks such as delivery, installations, maintenance, pick up services, upgrade services, distribution and delivery services and recycling services.
• A dedicated customer call centre – This allows Qnet SS to coordinate the above services as well as providing additional services such as being a contact centre for companies customers. This could take the form of a sales order processing department, a service, support or helpdesk or an information centre. This resource also allows for communication handling.
• Warehousing – Qnet SS has warehouses and storage facilities across the UK. This is to assist in the services provided above and also to provide separate warehousing, distribution, delivery and storage services for businesses.

Qnet SS has built up a high level of experience in this area through a long term contract with Virgin Media. (Formally NTL) The contract involves arranging suitable times with customers and from this agreeing a time for the collection of Cable TV set top boxes. Qnet then has all these Set top boxes sent back to Virgin Media.
