Qnet provides a wide range of broadband packages to suit all requirements and budgets. Our broadband packages range from a Pay as you go services all the way up to a completely managed broadband service. All our broadband customers receive free installation when transferring from another ISP provider. We offer a wide range of optional extras so you can tailor your broadband package to suit your individual requirements.

Leased Lines

Qnet leased lines provide a permanent, always on connection between two locations. It is a dedicated private line and only carries communications and traffic from your company resulting in a guaranteed level of service. The line can be used for data, video and voice. This is a good service to use for applications that require a large bandwidth.

VOIP

Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) is the routing of voice conversations over the Internet or through any other IP-based network. VOIP works by carrying your voice over an internet connection, usually broadband. Your speech is broken up and carried over the internet as blocks of digital data before being turned back into speech at the other end. Qnet can offer 2 main services; Calls between two people using the same VOIP service and calls between VOIP and a landline.

PSTN lines are typically designed for home use, small business and also for specialised applications such as broadband and Redcare alarm lines.

ISDN2e

ISDN 2e's are typically used for remote users, business users and other specialised applications such as transmitting radio broadcasts and creating encrypted telephone links. They are also used as a means of connecting to the Internet as they are very reliable.

ISDN30

ISDN 30 links are usually used for larger businesses that require a large number of telephone lines which are scalable. Large offices and call centres would be typically use these circuits.

Inbound Services

Free phone (0800 and 0808)

Qnet can provide a free-phone number for inbound callers. When your customer phones your 0800 number his call is automatically (and instantly) redirected to whichever phone number you have given us. This service encourages callers to make contact with your organisation and is a particularly good tool to use for sales departments.

Local Rate (0845)

When your customer phones your 0845 number his call is automatically (and instantly) redirected to whichever phone number you have given us. These numbers are easy for customers to remember.

National Rate (0870)

Qnet can provide 0870 numbers as part of our non geographic numbers range. These numbers give the impression of a national presence, are portable and easy to remember.

Fixed National Rate (0871)

Our fixed national rate numbers work in the same way as our national rate numbers but have the added bonus that callers are charged at a fixed rate regardless of location. They are most commonly used for recorded information lines.

Premium rate (090-)

Callers using premium rate telephone services on 090 numbers pay higher call charges to call the number. This rate can vary from 10p to £1.50 per minute. Premium rate phone lines and numbers are typically used for delivering information (horoscopes, weather, tips etc.) or can be used for competition lines or support lines.

Directory enquiries (118 919)

Our directory service works in exactly the same way as all the other directory services that you can think of, except that it can be up to 22% cheaper than compared to some existing directory services.
